Statewide environmental reporting

The State of the Environment report is a general environmental report card for NSW, while the State of the Parks report focuses on the management of national park lands.

The State of the Beaches report is a scorecard of recreational water quality measured at estuarine sites in Sydney and along the coast from the Illawarra to the Hunter.

State of the parks reporting provides a snapshot of the condition and management of the NSW park system in a publicly accessible way.

The NSW Natural Resources Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER) program reports on the condition of and pressures on the biodiversity, water, land and community assets of each natural resource management region in the state, and provides information for State of the Environment reporting.
